How to get there
If you arrive by train enter destination Emden Hbf at bahn.de or in the DB Navigator App. 🚝
⚠️👷♂️ On time for the wedding, the train bridge to Emden gets an overhaul: Please be aware that for the last stop you have to take a replacement bus from Leer to Emden. 🚌Inform us in advance on your arrival and we can see whether pooling for a taxi or a pickup makes more sense.

You come by car? 🚗
Emden is at the end of Autobahn A31 . Take exit 5 (Emden-Ost) or exit 4 (Emden-Wolthusen) to navigate into the city.
Airport needed? 🛬
The closest international airport is Bremen. Hamburg is relatively close as well . From Bulgaria, Dortmund or Eindhoven are options, but Frankfurt is the best served one. From the airport station it is 5 hours (including 1 switch) to reach Emden Hbf.
